What is SHINE?

SHINE is a weekly gathering designed specifically for 2nd Grade thru high school seniors. It’s a place where young people come alive with faith, fun, and friendship. Each session includes engaging games, uplifting music, interactive Bible lessons, and meaningful conversations that resonate with today’s youth.

Led by our amazing Children’s Director, Beth Ann Murray, SHINE offers energetic worship, interactive Bible stories, creative crafts, and exciting games—all with the goal of helping kids discover just how much Jesus loves them. Every Sunday during service, the SHINE team pours into the hearts of our kids, teaching biblical truth with joy, purpose, and plenty of laughter.

SPARKLE Nursery

Sparkle Nursery at SonRise Christian Fellowship – Sundays for Our Littlest Stars!

At SonRise Christian Fellowship in Fallbrook, we believe that even the tiniest hearts can shine bright with God’s love! Our Sparkle Nursery Program, held every Sunday morning during worship, is a joyful, nurturing space designed just for infants and toddlers.

Led by loving, trained volunteers in a secure and cheerful environment, Sparkle Nursery is more than just childcare — it’s a place where our littlest ones begin to experience God’s grace through music, stories, play, and gentle care. While parents enjoy service and fellowship, they can rest assured knowing their children are safe, cherished, and beginning their own faith journey — one giggle at a time!

Children’s Ministries

Children’s Ministry at SonRise Christian Fellowship clearly shares the responsibility of embracing our children’s faith journey’s.

We follow Deuteronomy 6:4-9:

4 “Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone.[a] 5 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. 6 And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. 7 Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. 8 Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. 9 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. Write them on your doorposts of your house and on your gates. In today’s culture, parents may look to other people to help their children embrace their faith.

We have here at SonRise, ministry leaders and ministry volunteers that help disciple our children. We have Christian teachers who model Jesus. We have all accepted, it takes the body of Christ working together for our children’s spiritual formation.

Parents, you don’t have to do it alone. SonRise Children’s Ministry staff surround our families with people who love God, love others, and desire to help make disciples of children.
